Mary Anne Ryan is a Senior Clinical Research Manager at the INFANT Research Centre, engaging in clinical and translational research with a dedicated focus on the newborn brain. She is committed to advancing knowledge in all areas of neonatal care. Her PhD centred on neuromonitoring (EEG) and neuroprotection in the neonatal units a particular focus on preterm infant sleep. A neonatal nursing background has given her extensive clinical experience working with neonates and their families and brings a unique perspective to the intersection neonatal care and research.
Her research interests also include neurodevelopmental outcomes, and the integration of artificial intelligence in neonatal intensive care. Mary Anne is passionate about driving in. ovation in newborn care and translating research findings into meaningful clinical practice. She has contributed to numerous multidisciplinary research projects always with a commitment to improving outcomes for the most vulnerable patients.
