Neonatal Cranial Ultrasound Course

The Newborn Brain Society is excited to announce that the Neonatal Cranial Ultrasound Course, provided in the United Kingdom for over 20 years, is coming to North America. This well-established and successful course will be held by Calgary Neonatal Neuro-Critical Care Program and is endorsed by the Newborn Brain Society.

The inaugural North American course will be held from September 21-23, 2022, at the MacEwan Hall, University of Calgary, Calgary, AB, Canada.

Guest speakers include Drs. Frances Cowan, Linda de Vries, Gerda Meijler and Sylke Steggerda.

The comprehensive three-day course will offer lectures on neonatal cranial ultrasound and brain injury, case studies, and hands-on ultrasound simulation. CME accreditation, under Section 1, is being established.

For the best experience, join the course in person! A large venue is provided, and all current health measures will be followed. Preferred rates for accommodations are offered for attendees for a limited time, so register and book early to take advantage of this and the opportunity to explore the Rockies and experience Western Canada hospitality. Virtual attendance option is also provided for those who cannot attend in person.

Expand your learning experience by joining the one-day SCAN (Sonographic Clinical Assessment of the Newborn) Workshop, which will be held at the same venue on September 20, 2022.

Members of the Newborn Brain Society can receive a 10% registration fee discount

Registration closes on August 28, 2022.
